International Business Registration in Turkey: New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs

In 2026, Turkey has become one of the most promising destinations for international business. Thanks to a large-scale tax reform, new incentives for investors and a favorable geographical location, the country is increasingly being considered as a jurisdiction for the establishment of holding companies, international service centers, manufacturing enterprises and asset management structures.

Law No. 7582 significantly expanded the list of tax benefits for business and created new opportunities for foreign entrepreneurs planning to operate internationally.

Why do entrepreneurs choose Turkey?

Turkey combines several important advantages for international business. The country is located between Europe, Asia and the Middle East, has a developed banking system, modern transport infrastructure and an extensive network of international agreements on the avoidance of double taxation. In addition, the government is actively stimulating the development of foreign investment by offering businesses special tax regimes and financial benefits.

One of the most important innovations of Law No. 7582 is the tax benefits for companies that work with international clients. In particular, for qualified service centers that provide services to international groups of companies, the law provides for the possibility of deducting up to 95% of the profit from the tax base.

For certain companies operating in the Istanbul Financial Center or special economic zones, the tax benefit can reach 100%. In fact, this allows for a significant reduction in the effective tax burden and makes Turkey a competitive jurisdiction for international business.

New opportunities for manufacturing companies:

The tax reform is also aimed at developing manufacturing. Starting from 2027, a reduced corporate tax rate of 12.5% is provided for companies that carry out real manufacturing activities in Turkey and meet the requirements of the law.

This creates additional incentives for international manufacturers that plan to transfer part of their production processes to Turkey.

Turkish law allows foreign citizens to establish companies on the same terms as local entrepreneurs. The most common organizational and legal form is the Limited Liability Company (Limited Şirket), which is suitable for most types of business activities.

Foreign investors can also establish joint-stock companies, open representative offices or branches of international companies, depending on the business structure and goals.

For which types of business is Turkey most interesting?

Today, the country actively attracts companies in the fields of:

  • international consulting;
  • IT and digital technologies;
  • financial services;
  • international trade;
  • logistics;
  • manufacturing;
  • export;
  • investment management.

Turkey can be especially profitable for companies that work simultaneously with clients in Europe, the Gulf countries, Central Asia and Africa.

One of the additional advantages is the ability to combine company registration with obtaining the status of a tax resident of Turkey.

Under certain conditions, new residents can take advantage of a special regime that provides for exemption from taxation of most foreign income for up to 20 tax years. This opens up additional opportunities for owners of international companies that receive income from different jurisdictions.

Why is it important to structure your business correctly?

Choosing a jurisdiction for registering a company is just one element of international tax planning. It is equally important to correctly determine the ownership structure, tax residency, dividend payment procedure, application of international treaties and requirements of the legislation of other countries.

It is a comprehensive approach that allows you to make the most of the benefits of Turkish legislation and minimize tax risks.

Today, Turkey offers entrepreneurs much more than just the opportunity to register a company. It is gradually transforming into an international financial and corporate center that combines favorable taxation, access to global markets, modern infrastructure and a favorable business environment.
